My name is Ava Mance. I am from Odessa, Florida and I am interested in majoring in either Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering. Community Service
Giving back to your community is an important part of being a leader. I have volunteered over 100 hours at multiple community businesses assisting in pet adoptions, coaching youth tennis players, collecting clothing and food donations, and providing support at various charity events.
Tennis is my favorite sport. I play singles and doubles. My goals are to focus on perfecting my tennis fundamentals, improve my skills, and play the best match I can to bring home the win for my team against our district rivals. I hope to continue playing at the collegiate level.
I played the position of a forward. Basketball was a new sport for me, playing only one year prior to high school. I enjoyed learning the fundamentals of basketball and used my time playing to improve my overall endurance and strength.
Traveling is the best way to learn about other cultures around the world and see the best the world has to offer. I hope to take advantage of opportunities to study abroad while I am in college.
